Black Diamond Minerals, LLC (BDM) is an independent oil and gas company located in Denver, Colorado.

We engage in the acquisition, development, operation and marketing of domestic oil and gas resources, and we conduct our operations in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. Our mission is to deliver an attractive and sustainable return to our investors. Our oil and gas fields (both operated and non-operated) are located in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Wyoming.

Oil and gas provides energy that enhances the quality of our lives. From the clothes we wear, to the cars we drive, to the homes we live in – virtually all aspects of our life benefit from oil and gas.

Oil and gas replaced coal as America’s main source of energy in the 1940s, and has been the leading provider of energy since. Currently, oil and gas provides around 62% of all American energy, while coal accounts for only 21%.  Although wind and solar power are promising new potential sources of energy, they currently only contribute 1% of American energy consumption.

Producing American energy reduces our dependence on foreign oil. Reliance on foreign sources of energy can strain our economy as dollars flow overseas. It can also put pressure on the American government to protect the reliability of that energy.  The oil and gas industry also provides employment for many Americans.
