Scott Hall has a distinguished record of service in the oil and gas industry in both management and engineering roles. Prior to becoming CEO of Black Diamond Minerals in 2007, he co-founded and served as President of G&H Resources. He was the Development Manager at Crimson Resource Management Corp. from 2002-2005, and from 1981-2002 worked in various upstream engineering and management positions at Texaco Inc. While at Texaco, he was involved with the company’s Diversity Program and Mentoring Excellence in Technology.

Scott has been a volunteer coach for youth sports for 15 years and serves as chairman of the board of a non-profit soccer organization.

Scott has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and holds a United States patent on horizontal well stimulation. Scott was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer in 1998 on the topic of multi-lateral horizontal wells, and has had several technical papers published.
