Mary Griggs is accomplished in issues of environmental remediation and regulations, having managed due diligence investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure plans (SPCC), solid and hazardous waste streams, air permitting and monitoring, vapor migration in buildings, and asbestos compliance. Before joining Black Diamond Minerals, Mary served as a Senior Project Manager/Remediation Engineer for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Prior to SAIC, Mary worked for A.G. Wassenaar Inc. as a Senior Environmental Engineer; her clients included Quest Communications, Beazer and Village Homes, Encana Oil and Gas, and the U.S. Forest Service.

Mary enjoys crewing on a racing sailboat with her husband, bike riding, hiking, and making pottery.

Mary earned a B.S. in Geology from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
