Jamey Brumley has served in the oil and gas industry for ten years, as both an engineer and in management positions. Before joining Black Diamond Minerals, Jamey served as the Rocky Mountain Operations Superintendent for Sierra Engineering, where he managed projects throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Prior to his time at Sierra, Jamey worked at Noble Energy as a Sr. Engineer for the Piceance Basin and as a Drilling Engineer for horizontal shale gas plays operations in Indiana and Oklahoma. He also served as a supervisor for multi-rig drilling operations in the Texas panhandle area for Patina Oil and Gas, which was later acquired by Noble Energy. Jamey also spent several years with Halliburton as a Tech Professional and in-house engineer for area operators.

When Jamey’s not overseeing operations, he enjoys travelling, camping, fishing, golf, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Jamey earned is B.S. in Chemistry from Harding University and his M.S. (with Thesis) in Engineering Systems from the Colorado School of Mines, and continues to grow his expertise by attending a wide range of industry school and training programs.
